Comtrend�s WAP-5835n is a versatile WiFi-based HD Access Point (AP) designed to reliably distribute multiple High-Definition IP video streams (HD-IPTV) within the home. 5GHz is excellent for wirelessly streaming multiple HD videos, and provides users with a high quality viewing experience while eliminating the need to install new cable wiring.

Reliable and robust connectivity enables HD and SD IPTV streams from an Ethernet-equipped broadband gateway or DVR to multiple IP set top boxes. Self-installable and fully interoperable with common IPTV servers, middlewares and set top boxes, Comtrend�s WAP-5835n allows operators to accelerate deployment schedules and reduce operating expenses by eliminating expensive truck rolls.
