Comtrend Selects Sigma Designs Next Generation G.hn Chipset

PowerGrid 9051s with CG5200 Chipset Offers Carrier Grade Distribution of Triple Play and IPTV Over All Existing Wires

CES Las Vegas and Irvine, Calif. - January 2013

Comtrend, a global supplier of advanced networking solutions, in partnership with Sigma Designs® (NASDAQ: SIGM), a leading provider of system-on-chip (SoC) solutions for home entertainment, connectivity and converging multimedia delivery, today announced the launch of Comtrend’s new PowerGrid 9051s. Powered by Sigma Design’s new G.hn CG5200 chipset, the PowerGrid 9051s enables a complete self-install home entertainment network for the distribution of Triple Play and IPTV over existing in-home power line, coax and phone line wires.
